GCHQ operates one of the largest and most complex IT estates in UK Government. Our business operates 24x7 and increasingly demands near real-time deployment of new capabilities. Achieving this in an environment of constant downward pressure on budgets called for a radical look at the way we deliver IT.
We engaged HP to help us implement Service Manager 7 and Asset Manager using Directed Design. We applied LEAN principles when designing our implementation of 7 core IITILv3 processes and supporting tools. In this session we expose the good and the bad of that engagement
